Run for Life Support, 2/15/2003
Tuesday, February 03 @ 22:55:14 EST
In 2003, members of Council #3274 contacted LaSalle High School in an effort to draw support for the Run for Life, a Homestead to St. Augustine week long run designed to call attention to and raise funds for the Respect Life programs in the State of Florida.
LaSalle High School students responded by setting up a water station near the Miami Science Museum on US1. Student members of the LaSalle Respect Life Club made signs and members of the LaSalle Cross-Country team escorted the Knight runners for a portion of the route. After the event, Sr. Monique Huart FMA, the LaSalle Respect Life Club advisor wrote, “the students and I enjoyed supporting your friends. We had runners and set up a water station a little south of the Science Museum. Thank you for getting us involved and thank you for all your help. God Bless you and the Knights!”
